Here are some pictures of two custom fabricated Jeep Bumper Hoop grille guards I made for special orders.
This is the Hoop, finished, delivered, and installed, with a Happy Customer. The middle tabs hold a tow strap. This is an really cool idea, I certainly would not have even thought of. It seems to work really well. The strap is tucked in the back, nice and clean. Ready to pull Hummer 2's out of the ditch.
Ya gotta like the look of this fancy red Rubicon. Wow.
Here is the Hoop in it inital stages, I have just finished welding it.
This first hoop is one I put two sets of tabs on it, and a full length plate.
The reason for a full length plate is to be able to add an ATV winch to the inside of the hoop and have extra strength with the plate and the Bumper to give the bas enough support. An ATV winch is not strong enough to lift the Jeep up an water fall, I know that, but a cheap little ATV winch may come in really handy, moving logs, collecting fire wood, you just never know.
Here is the response from teh guy who bought this hoop from me. We discussed what he wanted and how to build it. It took me a weeks or so to get teh steel for the plate and get the location and details for all the light tabs. The middle tabs are to hold a tow strap in place. The upper tabs are for rock lights.
Wow!! Thank you so much. It looks great. I can't wait to put it on.
Here is another Hoop I build for a guy who wanted a low profile hoop with a forward lean.
Here you can compare the "normal" hoop height to this low profile hoop.
NOTE: My email address is shown here in the picture with my Jeepin Dog. I had to put it in a picture so I wouldn't get so much spam email.
