Help Keep Public Lands Open!
The Utah 4-Wheel Drive Association is a collection of clubs and off road enthusiasts from all over Utah and the world who enjoy exploring the scenic and diverse backcountry of Utah.
We are a family oriented group that enjoy promoting and protecting motorized access all across the state and encourage our members to become educated and involved in issues that involve off-highway travel. We adhere to the principles of Tread Lightly! and are members of the United Four Wheel Drive Association.
We are active in land use issues and ORV trail maintenance activities in many parts of the state on both public and private lands. We enjoy an excellent reputation with Land Use managers as a group of responsible land users who are concerned about environmental issues and motorized access. We often field large crews of volunteers with all the necessary skills, equipment, and training to handle diverse projects including clean up, fencing, drainage and watershed protection, trail maintenance and reforestation.
We also work with State and National representatives, the Forest Service, BLM and other land managers for continuing 4-wheeling access to our public lands. We believe that public lands should be protected for the people, not from the people.
If these values are important to you, join us and help preserve Utah’s many beautiful areas for responsible access now and in the future.
The Utah 4 Wheel Drive Assocation holds it's meetings on the last Thursday of every month at 6:30pm at the Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep store 10905 South AutoDrive Mall in Sandy in the upstairs meeting room. All members are invited. Please feel free to come.
