Oh boy now we are getting somplace. Check out the view with the tub put in. You can see the big old Drill I used and all the other miscelaneous tools I needed. My wife keeps asking why I have so many tools and if I every use them. I sometimes point out that I used all these tools and more on a project. Then I go buy some more tools so all is good.
To put the Aluminium in against the Steel I use self drilling sheet metal screws. I also put double sided double stick heavy duty tape on the frame then put the tub in and sle it stick to the tub. This was to help is insulate between the steel and aluminium and to keep it from rattling so back. I had to put the tub in and out twice to figure out this trick. The first time I put it in it really rattled and banged around.
This is the Double stick mounting tape that I used. Scoth #M to the rescue against rattles.
The front of the tub goes on first and the the middle section is one piece bent at 90 degrees for each side wall.
Put the tape on like this put the tub in then remove the red covering and the tape will stick down hard.
I missed puting a suport for the front of the bed in and once the bed was in I had to add a bar across the front under the front. I added double stick tape to it before welding it in.
A view of the front corner with the black and Aluminium combo. I really like the way it looks.
The storage position of the trailer. It is easy to lift and sit on it end like this. I will probably store it in the corner of the yard like this.
